In 1965 a branch was opened in Dalby Queensland , to sell and service the Chamberlain product range.

By early 1970's, John Deere had taken over Chamberlain Industries and all Chesterfield branches became John Deere dealers at that time.

In 1983 Chesterfield opened another branch and commenced operations in Goondiwindi Queensland .

In 1992, the company purchased a business in Brisbane holding a franchise to market construction and forestry equipment in Queensland and Northern New South Wales .

In 1999 the company was appointed Kobelco dealer for Queensland and Northern New South Wales .

1 st July 2007 saw Chesterfield Australia acquired 3 further John Deere franchised locations. They are Yatala, Tweed Heads South and Albany Creek. The acquisition of Yatala has brought with it the John Deere Golf and Turf franchise to Chesterfield Australia . This now completes the entire range of John Deere product groups that Chesterfield now markets through its branches.

At Chesterfield we extremely proud of our most valuable asset, and that is our 165 staff that are in the employee of Chesterfield Australia . Many of which are long term team members, with a number of these people clocking up in excess of 40 years loyal service to Chesterfield , our franchised product including John Deere, and Kobelco and our Customers alike.

For us at Chesterfield it would be remiss not to mention our previous executives and note their many years of service and dedication in building Chesterfield to what it is today.
